Hide AdDave was one of the organisers of the original Whitnash Carnival and the bonfire night events, and was also a member of the Whitnash Twinning Association.
His passion for gardening meant displays of flowers in the town council flowerbeds were all provided by him grown and from seed.
He and his late wife loved to take part in line dancing, and he would come to the Whitnash Indoor bowls sessions until his failing health prevented him attending.
His funeral will take place on Wednesday May 12, 10am at Oakley Wood Crematorium, although due to Covid restrictions, the numbers are limited.
