"A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued by the Met Office, with speeds reaching up to 35mph. This totally exceeds the maximum safety limit for our market stalls.

"Whilst we do not want to cancel any more markets following the awful 10 months we have, safety remains our priority.

"We have consulted with Warwick District Council and are happy with our decision. We are a responsible company and will not put life at risk to our colleagues, traders or visitors.

"No traders will be attendance at tomorrows market."

Kenilworth Market is due to return on Thursday, January 28.

There is also still a yellow weather warning for rain in place for Warwickshire by the Met Office for today and tomorrow.

There are also a number of flood warnings in place across the UK.
