As soon as the COVID-19 lockdown was announced back in March, a team of Kenilworth Lions volunteers began delivering prescriptions to housebound residents all around Kenilworth and as far as South Coventry, Burton Green, Leek Wootton, Ashow and Stoneleigh.

During the first 12 weeks of the lockdown, over 2,650 prescriptions have been delivered, and total distance travelled by the 11-strong team is estimated at over 3,000 miles.
