Warwickshire's first community-owned pub receives further national recognition with second award win
Warwickshire's first community-owned pub has received a second national award.
The New Inn, in Norton Lindsey, has won a Heart of the Community Award from the BII (British Institute of Innkeepers).
The pub won the UK Community Story of the Year Award this time last year.Zana Patchett , who is part of the New Inn's management committee said: "Having only opened in 2017 as Warwickshire’s first community-owned pub we are thrilled to receive this recognition for the work that we have been doing this year to support our local community, particularly as this ties in so squarely to our vision to be more than just a village pub but to be the hub of our community in good times and recently tougher times as well."
