The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile will take place on March 20 and runners have already signed up to complete, a course of a mile around the town’s St Nicholas Park.

And there is still time to bag a place, don your favourite fancy dress outfit and do yourself proud, say organisers at Regency Runners.

A spokesperson for the women’s running club said: “We are delighted that so many people have already signed up but we want even more people in Warwick and Leamington to take part and make it the best Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile yet.”

The course will loop around the park at 10am, and runners can sign up from 9am next to the leisure centre.

A warm up and encouraging address will be made by town mayor, and live music will be played through the morning.

There will also be a charity cake sale for Sport Relief.
