Businesses in the area are being encouraged to take up an offer of super-fast broadband.
To promote the offer, Labour MP Tom Watson and Labour’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Warwick and Leamington, Lynnette Kelly, met up with the studio director of Leamington-based computer games producer Exient, Nick Harper.
The local broadband scheme began in Coventry, when Ms Kelly was the city council cabinet member for business enterprise and employment, with local companies there given a multi-million pound award to improve superfast broadband services.
The money comes in the form of connectivity grants (vouchers) to small and medium sized firms which contribute to the capital connection costs of accessing high speed broadband services. To find out more can visit www.connectionvouchers.co.uk or www.coventry.gov.uk/broadbandinterest
