Three injured in Hatton crash

Three people have been taken to hospital after being injured in a crash in Hatton.

Two ambulances and the air ambulance were called to the B4439 at the junction with the A4177 just after 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The driver of the first vehicle involved, believed to be in his 20s, was trapped for almost an hour. He received multiple injuries and was taken to the University Hospital in Coventry by air ambulance.

A passenger in the car, also believed to be in his 20s, was treated for a head injury and taken to the same hospital by land ambulance.

A man in his 40s who was driving the second car was treated for back pain and also taken by land ambulance to hospital.
