Due to the seriousness of the incidents the closure is expected to remain in place until late morning. Please allow extra time for your journey if travelling in the area or consider alternative routes.

Road users are advised to follow the solid square symbol diversion route displayed on road signs. Exit the M40 northbound at junction 12 and then take the B4100 (northbound) and continue to the A452 to then re-join the M40 at junction 14.

Delays are likely on the approach to the closure, with additional journey times also expected on diversion routes.
