A business in Warwick teamed up with a charity and a supermarket to help families in need.

During the early days of the Covid pandemic when the issue of free school meals was a hotly debated topic, The Pickled Crab Fishmongers and Street Food Restaurant in Smith Street in Warwick donated 100 meals to needy local children.

Anxious to do more the owner Nigel Keller-Godwin has collaborated with the Warwick Lions Club and Morrison’s to provide Easter treats to additional families by supplying boxed meals each containing chicken and fries together with sweets and popcorn for the younger family members.

This was a joint local effort where Warwick Lions sourced the recipients and delivered the meals while Morrison’s supplied the pic and mix sweets and popcorn.
