Warwickshire College Prince's Trust team are supporting Leamington home for the deaf
Walking through town in fancy dress and rowing more than 600km were among the challenges a group of Warwickshire College students have been doing as part of a charity challenge.
The students are taking part in a Prince’s Trust team programme - a free 12-week course involving charity challenges that helps participants to develop skills and gain a qualification.
Prince’s Trust Team 137 (pictured) have been raising funds for DEAFinitely Independent, a residential home in Leamington for deaf people with learning difficulties - and yesterday (March 18), they re-decorated six bedrooms at the home.
The team’s fundraising activities have included bag-packing at Asda, rowing the distance of Leamington to Paris at the college gym and taking part in a sponsored walk in fancy dress around Leamington and Warwick.
