As today (14 Feb) is Valentine's Day, you might have seen messages and pictures of gifts, flowers and cards on social media. But there's a new popular trend this year - the 'Valentine's tree'.

Put simply, the Valentine's tree is a Christmas tree decorated with pink and red hearts, red roses, feather boas, cupids and all things related to celebrating love.

With over 3,000 posts on Instagram sporting the hashtag #valentinestree, this is a popular trend in homes all over the country.

The trend seems to have started in America but has made its way over to here, with many Brits heading back up into the attic to give the Christmas tree another outing.
