Gold for Singh Manku
Cleary’s ABC fighter Nav Singh Manku clinched the British Universities and Colleges title with a unanimous points decision over Roehampton University student Daniel Fernandez.
Coventry University student Manku, who has turned his record around since joining Cleary’s from Leamington ABC, claimed the gold medal in the 57-60kg category in Sheffield in addition to a £3,000 sports scholarship.
The 21-year-old will be back in action on Cleary’s ABC’s show at the Royal Spa Centre on Sunday April 22.
The card will also feature the highly rated Michael Hunter, who is travelling down from Brendan Ingle’s gym in Sheffield to fight on the show.
