Dive into physical theatre to see the stories behind love and relationships at a bold new stage show coming to Warwick Arts Centre.
‘John’ is a new dance and theatre piece exploring stories of men and retelling their tales and experiences.
Lloyd Newson, artistic director of the DV8 Physical Theatre who put the show together, interviewed over 50 men, asking them frank questions about love and sex.
One of those men was John, and what emerged was a story Lloyd found both extraordinary and touching.
The stage show depicts real-life stories, where movement and spoken word combine to create an intense, moving and poignant theatrical experience.
The 75-minute performance contains adult themes, strong language and nudity and is not recommended for anyone under the age of 16.
Showing from February 4 to February 6 at Warwick Arts Centre.
There is also chance to attend a pre-show talk with the creator to find out more about the themes and ideas behind the script. Held on February 4. The talk is free, but booking is required.
Tickets from £13.50 now available from www.warwickartscentre.co.uk or the box office on 024 7652 4524
