A focus on the Pump Room in Leamington in free Friday talks

Free Friday lunchtime talks covering a variety of topics relating to Leamington’s Pump Room and Art Gallery and Museum will take place at the venue throughout this month.

The April programme of Friday Focus talks continues today (Friday) with Leamington Literary Society Secretary discussing the life and work of scholar, writer, historian, actress and campaigner Mary Dormer Harris.

On Friday April 17 Archie Pitts, chairman of the Friends of the Pump Room Gardens, will talk about the plans to restore the park to its heyday in the 1900s.

And on Friday April 24 Emma Woolshed will share her passion for natural dyes, natural fibres and India.

The talks start at 1pm and there is no need to book a place.
