Coventry theatre’s panto dame is after a man...

The damsel in distress is appealing to the people of Coventry and Warwickshire to nominate the men in their life to join her onstage alongside other characters such as Josh the Jester, Muddles and Fairy Azuriel.

The show, running from Wednesday until January 5, tells the story of a princess cursed to sleep for 100 years only to be awakened by her one true love.

The (un)lucky men nominated won’t know anything about the stunt until Belgrade’s dame comes to find him during the show - so this is the perfect opportunity to play a joke on a friend, wind-up a dad or stitch up a friend.
