Explore broad range of art by Leamington group

A LEAMINGTON art gallery is giving people the chance to discover a range of until new artwork being exhibited for the first time.

Not The Usual Suspects, Leamington Studio Artists’ summer exhibition, is running at Gallery 150 in Livery Street until Sunday and features works in a broad range of media, including painting, drawing, photography and sculpture by both emerging and established artists.

This year the display includes more than 100 pieces by 68 artists, some of whom are exhibiting with the 15-year-old organisation for the first time.

Visitors to the gallery will be invited to vote for their favourite artwork - and the winning artist will receive £500 and a special feature in Artspace, LSA’s arts journal, which has been in print since 1998.

All of the voters’ names will also be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a giclée print of Not The Usual Subjects by James Callaghan (pictured).

Gallery 150 is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 6pm and on Sundays from 11am to 4pm.
