Famous actor backing Armonico

ACTOR Jeremy Irons will launch Armonico Consort’s tenth anniversary year in an event at St Mary’s church in Warwick on Saturday March 26.

Irons will narrate a programme called The Final Coronation in which the award-winning choir will recreate the last Papal coronation in 1963.

They will sing stunning music performed at every coronation for 400 years by Palestrina and Orlando di Lasso.

Armonico are aiming to raise £100,000 for their Big Mouth Appeal this year.

The appeal will fund the creation of children’s choirs and the training of teachers as choir leaders.
