Hark back to the 1960s at Stratford show
Hits by Dusty Springfield, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner and Diana Ross are among the tunes audiences can enjoy at a gig by a Coventry singer in Stratford this weekend.
Emily Jane Brooks, who went to Finham Park School and Warwick University, is launching her new album, Goin’ Back: Female Icons of the 1960s at the Attic Theatre in Stratford on Saturday and Sunday (May 24 and 25) at 3.30pm on both days.
Emily said: “The album celebrates the female icons of the decade and brings their music to a new generation with fresh interpretation.”
