Irish singer’s Stratford gig
Best known for Only A Woman’s Heart, songstress Eleanor McEvoy has embarked on a UK tour this month and will take the stage at the Cox’s Yard in Stratford on January 29.
Only A Woman’s Heart has gone on to be the best selling recording in Irish chart history, and this year marks the 20th anniversary of its release.

Hide AdHer 2011 album Alone was critically acclaimed and she has just released the single Harbour taken from the album.
The album was recorded in a small studio in the Norfolk countryside, and the tranquil sessions translated into the music.
The multi-instrumentalist said: “In the converted barn, I stepped up to the microphone and sang my songs,
“My state of mind wasn’t the brightest, but there was something about being in the studio with no agenda, deadline, or pressure, it just came out.”
