Nation’s finest will be at Warwick Words festival

THIS year’s Warwick Words Festival line-up features some of the country’s leading writers, poets, journalists, illustrators and storytellers.

Aimed at all ages, the popular ten-day literary festival runs from Friday 28 September to Sunday 7 October at venues in Warwick and Leamington.

The programme is packed with talks, events and workshops, some of which are free.

Special festival guests include Kate Mosse, Claire Tomalin, Roger McGough, Lord Norwich and many other literary celebrities.

There’s also a chance for budding writers to develop their skills in workshops led by professional writers who are experts in their field.

The Festival’s Young Words programme includes award-winning authors Jamila Gavin and Tracey Corderoy and celebrates the exciting world of children’s literature with events to suit every age from toddlers to teens.

On The Edge is an exciting new programme of events based in Leamington and complements Warwick Words Festival.
