Pocket-sized artworks of Warwick scenes
Scenes of Warwick have been captured in a new collection of postcards by an amateur artist from the town.
Brenda Talbot, a former member of the Coventry and Warwickshire Artists Society, took to creating the pocket-sized artworks after she and her husband recently downsized into a smaller home, giving her less space to work in. She said: “The object of my painted postcards is to capture local scenes in another kind of way, other than the snap-shot photo style, linked with a strong feeling of it having been taken directly from the artist’s easel.”
Brenda has exhibited at the Herbert in Coventry, Leamington town hall and Nuneaton gallery. To find out more about her artwork, email [email protected]
