Putting the art into Marton

The festival, which runs at the church of St Esprit until Sunday, will feature more than 200 paintings, a photographic exhibition, craft items and children’s art.

Exhibitions are open today (Saturday) from 10.30am to 5pm and on Sunday from 10.30am to 4pm.

The event will conclude with a harvest festival at 6pm on Sunday.

Money raised will go towards improvement work at the church, including the installation of a water supply and disabled toilets.

The festival is organised by the Marton Art Group, which meets during the year and organises various art workshops for both adults and children.
