Sydni Tickle has been specially commissioned to be performed at the estate’s event to mark the milestone, which takes place at the Sydni Centre next Saturday (July 5) - at which there also will be music, food, displays, open top bus tours and canal boat trips.

Written by local writer Bev Murray and performed by Mindy Chillery of Golden Loom drama company, the play - which is based on historical facts - sees the ghost of Joan Tickle and fellow spirits visit the estate - where she and her husband Arthur were farmers during the 1940s and 50s - to reminisce about their time there.
