Yazmina Reza’s internationally-acclaimed The God of Carnage begins simply, with two sets of intelligent parents meeting to talk over the fight their 11-year-old sons had in the park. But logic and compromise very quickly depart the table - and a bad evening is even more assured when the lethal ingredients of rum and clafouti are added.

Director Steve Smith says he is confident his selected cast will deliver on the energy, timings, nuances and physical comedy needed for this continuous, one-set play to reach its full glory.

The show runs from Monday to Saturday (November 23) at 7.30pm each evening. Tickets cost between £7 and £8.50. Call 856548.
