Warwickshire Artist brings together reality and the virtual
A VIRTUAL reality is fused with life as we know it in the work of Warwickshire Artist newcomer Safi Farspire.
Having previously exhibited under her former name of Ali Goudedard, Safi adopted her ‘avatar’ name to display her works in the virtual world and has committed to working under that name so she can bring the two worlds together.
She said: “I suppose my work has three main threads - landscape, Islamic art and patterns and an allegorical or symbolist element, which enables me to combine all three as I wish.”
Safi’s work can be seen in the online space ‘Second life’ and on the Warwickshire Artists’ website.
