Bravissimo staff happier than most

The lingerie, swimwear and nightwear retailer has been named the best eighth firm to work for in the Sunday Times’ 2011 Best Companies list.

Since it was founded by Sarah Tremellen in her living room in 1995, the company, which now employs around 750 people, has rocketed to the position from being named 24th in the list last year.

It also ranked first for providing great customer service, while other scores showed that 81 per cent of staff reported that they loved their jobs, 86 per cent think the company is run on strong principles and 79 per cent claim there is a strong sense of family among their teams.

Human resources director Laura Meneaud said: “It’s testament to the effort everyone who works at Bravissimo puts in. We work hard to ensure our employees feel rewarded and valued for the roles they play.”
