Buoyant jobs market prompts Apex move to Warwick

The buoyant Warwickshire jobs market has prompted a recruitment company to consolidate two of its offices into one near Warwick – and take on new staff.

Apex Recruitment, which has been in business for 30 years with offices in Leamington and Banbury, has moved to one larger office at Tournament Fields with the help of ehB Commercial.

The development has created a demand for more specialist jobs advisers. And the move has been triggered by greater use of social media – Facebook, Twitter and Linked-In - as a means of personnel getting onto the jobs ladder, and the surge in employment opportunities created by local companies with a global reach including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) at Gaydon.

Head of marketing at Apex Recruitment Jennifer Kennedy said: “The recruitment industry has changed dramatically in recent years with a big surge in white collar roles among professionals who no longer walk into high street agencies, but seek jobs through social media. The move has created a more dynamic space for us to help these large organisations find the right people – it is a very exciting time.

Victoria Mawer of ehB Commercial said: “Apex Recruitment is a bellwether company – if it is doing well, the economy is in good shape.”
