Michael gained his accountancy qualification with a small firm in Birmingham before moving on to join a national firm with a base in Warwick. He set up his own practice in Warwick 20 years ago.

Michael’s interest in not for profit organisations has led to his personal involvement as a trustee and chairman of a number of local charities as well as at one time being a school governor. He has been involved in local healthcare charities, including the Warwickshire Private Hospital Charitable Trust that benefits the lives of many individuals in the area aiding patient care and support through a number of initiatives.

Michael gets involved in training and supporting new staff and is currently sponsoring three employees who are taking their accountancy qualifications. His son Mark, also a chartered accountant, now takes an active role in running and developing the firm for the future.

For ten years Michael has been chairman of Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training.
