Cllr Clarke cut the ribbon to open the store and joined in with the festivities.

Simply Fresh director and store retailer for Simply Fresh Leamington, Kash Khera, invested £200,000 in the new store which serves hot food, cooked fresh with locally sourced ingredients and has a seating area and free Wi-Fi available for customers.

The new store has created 15 new jobs.

Keen to continue its community friendly ethos and, as with all previous Simply Fresh stores, the Leamington store supported a Leamington-based charity, Cord, at the launch event.

The store is also currently running a healthy eating initiative with Bishop’s Tachbrook Primary School.

Kash Khera said: “We are excited to be officially launched in Leamington. It is a wonderful little community which we look forward to continue working with. We had a delightful launch day and we want to thank all the people who attended.”
