To mark the occasion, all diners on Tuesday, November 19 – Anniversary Day – were treated to a free drink, with ten lucky customers each receiving a free £10 Seasons restaurant gift voucher.

Before opening Seasons, Andrew spent seven years in hotel managerial positions in London, latterly as food and beverage manager at the London Bridge Hotel.

Prior to that he was a captain’s table waiter on the luxury liner QE2, having trained in hotel management at Stratford College of Food.

Andrew added: “With more big-name establishments, such as Jamie Oliver now potentially moving into Leamington, there is increasing competition. And some people might argue that the town centre is now well over-populated in eateries.

“However, I believe there will always be a place for the independent who takes a pride in his business and who can consistently provide a quality product and quality service – matching the standards that discerning diners demand.”

Seasons has been an award-winner on several occasions in the Godiva Awards, held to recognise the achievements of inspirational businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire.

In addition to running a Wine Appreciation Society – now in its fifth year - Seasons hosts regular meetings of the 41 Club, the networking Leamington Business Network and, twice a month, is the setting for “Communion and Coffee,” providing a short, informal service for those unable to regularly attend church on a Sunday.

LBN member Pamela Fabianska, an independent consultant who provides advice on estate planning, said: “We always feel welcome at Seasons and the atmosphere is conducive to our business. In fact, it is an ideal setting for our organisation.”
