Warwick salon staff celebrate top hairdressing award

Nashwhite from Warwick has been recognised during the hairdressing industry’s longest running awards event, dedicated to celebrating creative talent and ‘Hair Inspired by Fashion’.

During the 58th annual L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, Nashwhite scooped the2013 L’Oréal Colour Trophy Southern Region Award.

The ecstatic salon team took to the stage in front of a star studded audience of over 1,000 including fashions finest Alexa Chung and Shingwai Shonwai of the Noisettes. Nashwhite celebrated their triumph as presenter George Lamb handed them their award.

Back in March this yearNashwhite submitted their photographic entry secured them a place within one of the seven regional finals across the UK. With over 465 fellow regional finalists Nashwhite again impressed the southern region judging panel with their flawless live hairdressing skills and fashion-led overall model look, achieving a sought-after place at the famous L’Oréal Colour Trophy grand final.

A total of 28 UK salons competed in the grand final for this category and Nashwhite faced a judging panel of some of Britain’s most accomplished and renowned hairdressers including Andrew Barton and Richard Ward. The salon had justtwo and a half hours inside the L’Oréal Academy to recreate their model look and demonstrate their ability to fuse together precision cutting, faultless colour, beautiful make-up and fashion led clothes styling.

Lee Nash-Jones of NashWhite said: “Following our success we have also just become one of five grand finalists at the Creative Head awards for the Best New Salon category. This is one of the largest business awards within our industry and is a huge achievement to be in the finials with two of the largest London based salons.”
