Health Secretary Matt Hancock has announced today (Wednesday) that more areas of England will move into Tier 4 on Boxing Day - but Warwickshire was not named in the new list.

With rises in Warwickshire, especially in neighbouring Rugby, many had predicted that the county would be moved into the new Tier 4.

Instead, Mr Hancock said that more areas in the east and south east of England would be added to the list. They include neighbouring Oxfordshire, which will go from Tier 2 to Tier 4.
