Leamington History Group's annual history day will be a bit different this year - it will be a virtual event.

Normally the group holds its event in All Saints Parish Church - but with Covid-19 restrictions, things have had to change this year.

Stella Bolitho, Leamington History Group committee member, said: "We did not want to let Covid stop us sharing our love of local history so we asked for local history volunteers to make a short presentation on any aspect of Leamington History.

"We have gathered these together in a full programme which consists of a series of talks which members of the public can choose to watch online; and a virtual afternoon tea, cake and local history group.

"We have had an amazing response, including 13 presentations on different aspects of local history; and also a live family history advice session (pre-bookable) with professionals."

The event will be held on Saturday September 26, 10am-4.30pm. At 4pm there will be Afternoon Tea, cake and a quiz on local history.
