SEAT revives Pay no VAT campaign

SEAT has revived its hugely popular ‘Pay No VAT’ campaign as it seeks to continue its most successful year to date and attract even more new car buyers to the brand.

The offer, which is now available at Listers SEAT in Coventry and covers two of the Spanish brand’s most popular models – the stylish Ibiza 5DR 1.4 SE Copa supermini and the sporty Leon 1.6 TDI S Copa family hatchback.

Like all models wearing the ‘Copa’ badge, both cars boast as standard hundreds of pounds’ worth of the most sought-after equipment previously found on the options list.

Yet, with SEAT picking up the 20 per cent tax bill, motorists choosing the Ibiza will pay just £10,699 RRP – a massive saving of £2,105 – while those opting for the Leon will pay just £14,909, saving a whopping £2,970.

Listers SEAT sales manager, Simon Dunn, said: “This has been a fantastic year for the dealership and has seen SEAT record its highest ever share of the UK’s new car market.

“Much of this success has been down to two things – the popularity of our previous ‘Pay No VAT’ offer, which gives customers a 20 per cent saving on list price, and the incredible added value of our limited edition Copa models.

“Now, by combining those two elements and offering a huge 20 per cent saving on cars which are packed with high-value and highly desirable equipment, we’re expecting even more people to grab a bargain by choosing a SEAT.”

Normally retailing at £12,805, the Ibiza 5DR 1.4 SE Copa is packed with desirable goodies including 16in alloy wheels, climate control, rain-sensing wipers, auto-headlights, front fog lights with cornering function, cruise control, front electric windows and an MP3-compatible CD player with AUX-in.

Meanwhile the Leon 1.6 TDI S Copa, which normally retails at £17,880, comes with 16in alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, Bluetooth, front fog lights with cornering function, cruise control, an MP3-compatible CD player with AUX-in, ESP stability programme with XDS (electronic differential lock) and a Start/Stop system with energy recovery.
