Agent’s Rugby World Cup offer

Warwickshire estate agent and sports enthusiast James Hawkesford is counting down the days to the start of the 2011 Rugby World Cup tournament.

Such is his interest in the event, which is being staged in New Zealand between September 9 and October 23, that he is offering a free beach rugby ball to anyone putting a property on the market with his offices in Leamington or Warwick, either for sale or for let, between now and the end of the tournament.

Managing director Mr Hawkesford is a keen follower of the game. “I am a huge fan of the sport and our rugby ball giveaway idea is intended to help promote interest in the tournament, as well as being a bit of good sporting fun.”

This year’s Rugby World Cup sees 20 teams competing in four pools for a place in the knockout stages. England play in pool B where they face Argentina, Georgia, Romania and Scotland. Ireland are in pool C where their main opposition will come from Australia, and Wales will face the might of South Africa in pool D.

Hawkesford offers a comprehensive property service that incorporates surveys, sales, mortgage and financial advice, rental and auctions.
