Mortgage clinic will help buyers

Local mortgage consultant Amy Nash of estate agents Connells in Kenilworth is urging those looking to move home or buy a property for the first time in 2011 not to be put off by the belief they won’t get a mortgage.

Amy is running a mortgage clinic tomorrow (Saturday) between 10am and 1pm at the Connells office at 29 Warwick Road, Kenilworth.

She will be on hand to provide people with a 20-minute one-to-one information service including advice on the costs involved in buying a property and getting a mortgage.

There will also be the opportunity for people to speak with the sales team about current housing market conditions.

The Connells Group picked up Best Financial Services at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2010.

In the Best Financial Services category, Connells was commended for continuing to “innovate and impress with their financial services offering” with a special mention of its will writing service which “has been introduced and the take up rate speaks for itself.”

Amy Nash said: “If you’re looking to buy a home or re-mortgage there’s only one way to find out what is really happening and that’s to talk to an expert, which is why we are holding this mortgage clinic to help people to understand their options.

“Key to helping buyers and those coming to the end of an existing deal is to offer choice and we have carefully selected a panel of lenders, including some of the UK’s biggest banks and building societies.”

The housing market in and around Kenilworth is active and properties that are well-presented, correctly priced and pro-actively marketed are continuing to sell. The team are now gearing themselves up for the traditional rush of buyers to the market in the autumn.
