Tenants snap up luxury apartments

Half of a new development of luxury apartments which have just been completed as part of the latest phase of the redevelopment of Kenilworth’s Talisman Square have already been let.

The first tenants are due to move in to Sexton House in late September and agents Brian Holt expect the others to be snapped up within weeks.

Lettings manager Mark Walmsley said every single person viewing the apartments had wanted to take one – although not all have been able to do so.

“The fact that the landlord has been so flexible on offering a choice of furnished or unfurnished has been a real bonus in helping people to decide instantly that they’d like to take one of the apartments,” explained Mark.

“Also, the fact that we are on Prime Location as well as Right Move means we have reached more customers – and viewings are coming from people in Kent, Gloucestershire and Cambridge as well as locally.

“They are being taken by professionals and we’re also seeing a good deal of interest from people studying PhDs at Warwick University.”

The two bedroom apartments at Sexton House are unexpectedly spacious. Each has a 23ft living/dining kitchen with Juliet balcony, the main bedroom is 16ft long and has an en suite shower room and the second bedroom is a comfortable sized double. Each apartment also has a large bathroom and allocated parking.

They are available furnished or unfurnished to suit the tenants’ requirements. All appliances are provided, including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and electric ovens with gas hobs.

The new apartments, developed by Discovery Properties, are available at £795 a month or £875 with quality furnishings.
