Shanade’s EP finds solid ground

Shanade Morrow showcased her talent to shoppers when she promoted her new EP in Leamington.

The Old Town singer-songwriter played to an audience at Head music store in the Royal Priors last Friday.

Her new release, Solid Ground, features six of her favourite tracks from 13 she recorded and is the prelude to her forthcoming debut album due to be released before Christmas.

Shanade said: “It’s an acoustic EP and it’s quite raw.

“It covers what I have observed over the last three years.

“The message is if you put your mind to something you can do anything.”

Shanade has been busy collaborating with other artists since she appeared on the same fund-raising album as The Rolling Stones and The Killers last year and also has gigs lined-up in New York.
