A fittingly floral tribute

Rosemary Kirk stepped down as chairman of the Friends of Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital at the group’s general meeting.

Leamington mayor Cllr Alan Wilkinson presented the knowledgeable plants woman - a member of the group for more than 30 years - with a National Gardens voucher and a bouquet of flowers.

He said: “Rosemary was the recipient of the Mayor’s Annual Award for 2010-2011 for her outstanding contribution over many years to the community and is an example of the selfless dedication to others that is so humbling to witness.”
