African adventure raises more than £60,000 for Myton Hospcies
The fundraisers returned from the trip on October 12 after an exhausting week riding in temperatures of more than 40 degrees.
Among those cycling were Zoe Beresford and her partner Adam Chart who completed the route in memory of Zoe’s dad Matthew who died at the Warwick Hospice on December 30 last year. The pair raised over £10,000 between them in memory of Matthew.

Gary, who lives in Kenilworth, recently turned 60 and took part in the trip as part of his celebrations.
He said: “It was fantastic experience and one that I will never forget. It was very challenging but also very rewarding. To have raised over £60,000 for Myton is just incredible. We would like to thank everyone who supported us and helped us reach the total. It will make a real difference to our patients and those we look after.”
