Air ambulance treats people in parts of Warwickshire other ambulances cannot reach
AIR ambulance staff helped a man who could not be reached by a land ambulance after an accident near Southam yesterday.
The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance treated the man, who had sustained a broken ankle on a building siten, and flew him to University Hospital, Coventry.
The man, who is in his 50s, had broken his ankle on the rim of a tractor tyre.

Hide AdThe air ambulance crew took just nine minutes to reach the scene from their base at Coventry Airport at around noon, assessing the injury, giving the man pain relief and splinting his ankle before taking him to hospital.
