Bogus caller steals Kenilworth pensioner’s purse
POLICE are appealing for information after a bogus salesman stole an elderly woman’s purse in Kenilworth last week.
The 86-year-old allowed the caller into her home and bought goods in the theft last Tuesday (June 26), but later found her purse, which contained bank cards and cash, was missing.
Police would like to hear from anyone approached by door to door salespeople last week. Anyone with information should call Warwickshire Police on 101 or 415000, or can contact Crimestopppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
