Detectives from Leamington CID carried out an extensive search of the area, completed house-to-house inquiries and studied CCTV footage.

The investigation involved dozens of officers including detectives and forensic experts as well as days of police time in hope of finding the men responsible.

Detective Inspector Liam Barry thanked everyone who helped with a search.

He assured residents that a ‘full and thorough’ investigation is always carried out with reports of serious crime.
