Christmas wishes as Stoneleigh nursery spreads festive cheer

Children and parents of at Wren nursery in Stoneleigh Park helped 21-year-old Emily Earls send off 45 shoeboxes of presents to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Emily got involved with the festive project as part of her early years foundation degree course, and said she was thrilled with the response.

“The outcome was tremendous and parents have been very generous providing toiletries, toys and small games to create an amazing total of 45 boxes,” she said.

Pupils at the day nursery also made and wrote cards for a child who will be in hospital over the festive period.

Emily has thanked all parents and children who helped make the project a success.
