Circus spectacular in Rugby

In case you hadn’t heard, the circus is in town.

Tuesday, March 14 saw the Charles Chipperfield team open its doors to Rugby.

Those who attended on that first night were treated to a stunning show.

Despite performing to a less-than-full house the performers’ energy would have excited a crowd ten times the size.

A well-balanced mix of remarkable feats, breath-taking performances and classic clownish capers made for a show that entertained audience members of all ages.

The comedic interludes lacked a little pace, and I would warn that on one or two occasions there are a lot of loud noises.

However, the rest of the show was captivating, in particular its heart-stopping finale: The Wheel of Death.

It’s definitely worth seeing if you have the chance, I’m tempted to go a second time.
