Knife and drugs seized from man and 15-year-old boy after they were caught acting suspiciously in Rugby

A man and a teenage boy have been arrested yesterday, Monday May 11, in connection with drugs offences.
At around 1.45pm today officers from Rugby’s Proactive CID team were on patrol on Cross Street when they noticed the pair acting suspiciously.

Hide AdDrugs, believed to be crack cocaine, and a lock knife were seized by officers.
A 15-year-old boy from Kettering was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife/bladed article and being concerned in the supply of drugs.
He has been bailed until June 8.
A 34-year-old man from Daventry was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
He has been bailed until June 3.
Enquiries are ongoing but anyone with any information concerning suspected drug dealing in the area is asked to call 101 or report it via the force website.
