Leamington bar fined £10,000 for hosting party with nearly 100 people

A bar in Leamington is facing a £10,000 after hosting a party with nearly 100 people.

Last month, officers attended the venue on the evening of Thursday October 22, where they found the doors locked but people could be seen inside.

When officers managed to gain access, approximately 90 people were found inside, with no social distancing taking place.

A fine has now been issued for the breach of coronavirus restrictions.

Warwickshire Police have not named the bar or the street where the bar is located.
