A simple stop for a defective brake light turned into a complete display of stupidity when Warwickshire traffic officers pulled over a blue Vauxhall Astra earlier this week.
Officers from OPU Warwickshire pulled the car over on Railway Terrace on Wednesday, January 13, and soon discovered that the iffy brake light was the least of the driver's problems.

Hide AdEnquiries revealed the driver had travelled all the way from Leicester to see his son - who had a cough.
To make matters worse, he was carrying a passenger - a woman from a separate household in Coventry.
As well as blatantly breaching covid regulations several times over, the driver was also found to be using the car on a provisional licence.
A spokesperson for OPU Warwickshire said: "Needless to say, the occupants have been dealt with for all offences and the vehicle seized."
