Man rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after stabbing in Rugby town centre

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was found with a serious stab wound to his chest in Church Street earlier today, July 31.
The incident was reported to the police at around 4.40pm and the man was then found near the junction with Railway Terrace.

Hide AdDetective Sergeant Mark Calvert from Rugby Serious and Complex Crime Team said: “This investigation is in its very early stages.
"We have reports the victim was involved in an altercation with a number of other males prior to suffering the stab wound.
"We’re keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or has any other information that could help with our enquiries.”
