Three people arrested in Leamington for having a bottle of acid in their car

They are being held on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon

Two teenagers and a man have been arrested in Leamington for having a bottle of acid on them.

Police investigating county lines drug activity in Leamington are carrying out enquiries after officers stopped a car in Grove Place at about 7pm last night (Thursday).

A small bottle was located in the vehicle, containing a liquid suspected to be acid.

A 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old man, both from Coventry, and a 21-year-old man from London, were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
